Still, his loyal fans first met him on the small screen as Andy Dwyer in the NBC sitcom Parks and Recreation (2009-2015).

He is equally famous for his 2009 marriage to and 2018 divorce from actress Anna Faris. He is currently married to Katherine Schwarzenegger, daughter of actor Arnold Schwarzenegger and Maria Shriver.


Chris Pratt’s first big break came when he joined the Parks and Recreation cast as musician Andy Dwyer during the show’s 2009 debut season. Pratt stayed with the series until its finale in 2015, working around his filming of Guardians of the Galaxy in 2014.

Chris Pratt also provided the main character’s voice in the animated film The Lego Movie shortly before finding blockbuster success with the sci-fi adventure Guardians’ release. Guardians Of The Galaxy (2014) earned more than $770 million worldwide, followed by the even more profitable Guardians of the Galaxy 2 (2017) and led to additional Marvel films, including Avengers: Infinity War (2018).


Christopher Michael Pratt was born on June 21, 1979, in Virginia, Minnesota. Pratt has progressed from homeless college dropout waiting tables in Hawaii to Forbes magazine’s highest-paid actors.

At 6’ 2” and 300 pounds, Chris Pratt was soft as his Parks and Rec character Andy Dwyer. Pratt lost 60 pounds in six months while training for his role as Star-Lord Peter Quill. During this period, Chris Pratt worked out five days a week, 4 hours a day, and ate roughly 4,000 calories.

Chris Pratt chose trainer Duffy Gaver, best known for training Chris Hemsworth for his role as Thor. Chris Pratt’s starts his workout with a traditional bodybuilding approach. Subsequently, he adjusted his workout after about eight weeks, including both bodybuilding and cardio in three phases:

Chris Pratt’s workouts included combinations of P90X, running, swimming, boxing, kickboxing, and a triathlon. The end goal was to pack on muscle while becoming lean and fit. To support the Star-Lord workout, nutritionist Phil Goglia designed a 4,000 calorie a day low-carb, paleo diet supplemented by constant water intake.
