Henry Cavill’s Workout
Henry Cavill started training for his first Superman role in late 2011. During this period, he trained for 2.5 hours a day, 5-6 days per week, for 10 hard months. Henry Cavill gained 20 pounds of solid muscle with his trainer Mark Twight, best known for his work with training the cast of the film 300. We can describe Cavill’s Superman diet as frequent eating and HUGE amounts of protein consumption. Both Cavill and trainer Twight believe that protein doesn’t just build mass, but also helps repair muscle damaged during heavy training.
A typical breakfast during Cavill’s Superman training period would include:
Eggs – Cavill often ate 5 egg whites with 2 yolks along with…
Steak – 8 ounces of steak for added protein during his first meal of the day.
Oatmeal Protein Shake – Then wash it all down with a dairy-based protein shake!
Snacks and lunch often included chicken breasts and protein shakes. Dinner included bison steak and brown rice and a final protein shake. Don’t forget to check out: Discover the Secrets of the Rock’s Revolutionary Workout Program.
