Upper-Body Dumbbell Workout

A full-body dumbbell workout is perfect for those who want to focus on their arms, chest, shoulders, and back. Start by doing some light stretching or warm-up exercises, then move on to the following activities for each muscle group:

  • Arms – Bicep curls, tricep extensions, hammer curls
  • Chest – Chest press, incline chest press, decline chest press
  • Shoulders – Shoulder press, lateral raises
  • Back – Bent over rows, reverse flyes

For each exercise, do three sets of 8-10 repetitions with a moderate weight. Take 30-60 seconds rest between sets.

Lower Body Dumbbell Workout

For a full-body workout with dumbbells, work your quads (thighs), hamstrings (back of legs), glutes (buttocks), and calves. Here are some practical exercises to target each muscle group:

  • Quads – Squats, lunges

  • Glutes – Glute bridges
  • Calves – Calf raises

Again, do three sets of 8-10 reps per exercise with a moderate weight and take 30-60 seconds rest between sets. If one side is weaker or needs more attention, perform unilateral movements such as single-leg deadlifts and squats. This will help even out any imbalances in your lower body strength.
