Do you want to know more about phentermine’s fat loss benefits and side effects? Phentermine is a stimulant that causes rapid weight loss. A research study showed that phentermine is excellent for fast fat loss results for those who are obese, overweight, and have a hard time losing weight through diet and exercise.

Phentermine is a controlled substance; therefore, a doctor or licensed medical provider must prescribe it. The drug works by suppressing the appetite and increasing metabolism. It packs a punch and provides a double whammy to crush fat from two sides.

But like steroids, the drug has made its way into the fitness community. Many see it as a way to burn stomach fat without hunger and cravings.

In this article, we will discuss the benefits and side effects of phentermine. First, however, you will need a prescription from a licensed medical professional to get your hands on phentermine.

What are the Benefits and Side Effects of Phentermine?

Many people rave about the benefits of phentermine, but, as essential, others talk about the side effects of the drug. Some people have reported losing up to 10 pounds weekly on the drug. While others say, they had to remind themselves to eat something.

Because phentermine is a controlled substance, you can not purchase it without a licensed medical professional’s prescription. Doctors, physician assistants, and hormone therapists prescribe the drug for patients who can’t lose weight after diet and exercise.

But some bodybuilders and gym enthusiasts have gotten wind of it and see it as an opportunity to shred stomach fat. Therefore, let’s discuss what a person can expect when using phentermine.

Dosage –

Medical providers prescribe half to one tablet of phentermine for obesity. The tablet is to be taken orally by mouth each morning. Each tablet contains 37.5 MG of phentermine.

Doctors usually prescribe the drug for 90 days or fewer. Also, the person who the doctor prescribed the drug must be the one who picks it up from the pharmacist.

The pharmacist will not give the patient the drug without governmental picture identification. Phentermine is safe for most people, but there are some potential side effects. So let’s discuss the side effects first.

Side Effects –

So what are the side effects of phentermine? These include increased blood pressure, rapid heart rate, and restlessness.

Phentermine can also interact with other medications, so it is essential to follow the doctor’s and pharmacist’s instructions carefully. The main reason this drug is a controlled substance is that it is highly addictive.

Another side effect of phentermine is the drug makes people high. Thus, the drug works like opioids and cocaine. However, while numbing the senses, it can also cause a lapse in judgment.

Therefore, we recommend not driving when a person first takes the drug. Also, people should give themselves a couple of hours to come down from their high before driving or operating equipment.

Also, medical providers recommend starting with half a tablet to give the body time to adjust to the drug.

Finally, some people mentioned experiencing problems sleeping while on the drug. For this reason, doctors and pharmacists recommend taking phentermine at the same time each day.

While on phentermine, a person must be responsible. Also, communicating with a doctor and family about behavior changes is strongly recommended. Most people are aware of the opioid crisis in America. It, too, started as a solution to a medical problem and quickly became an addiction epidemic.

Benefits –

Phentermine may be a good option if you are looking for rapid weight loss. So how much weight can you lose while on phentermine? Some people have reported losing 10 pounds a week on the drug.

Phentermine eliminates a person’s appetite, thus making weight loss a simple choice instead of a contest of willpower. Patients have reported going days without eating while on the drug.

Besides eliminating a person’s appetite, it increases their metabolism, which is why some people report feeling high while on the drug. Phentermine also increases a person’s energy level, which is ideal for working out.

Some people said they couldn’t sit still while taking the drug. Instead, they reported staying active and wanting to do more. In addition, many patients reported a feeling of euphoria while taking phentermine.

Finally, most people who use the drug report a reduction in their grocery bills due to not craving foods.

In addition, the lack of cravings and appetite allowed them to eat healthier foods since they were not hungry or experienced cravings.

Thus, they stayed away from restaurants at lunch and frequently skipped lunch altogether.

The Last Word on the Fat Loss Benefits and Side Effects of Phentermine

If you found it difficult to lose weight in the past despite exercising and dieting, phentermine will help you lose weight.

If you decide phentermine is for you, make sure you religiously follow your doctor’s instructions because phentermine is a classified, controlled substance.

Also, if you have a history of alcohol or drug abuse, you need to disclose that to the doctor and look at other options for weight loss.

We recommend slowly cycling off the drug so you don’t struggle without it. Of course, you can always take half a tablet a day at the end of your treatment or skip days to allow your body to adjust without it.

But, like cigarettes, alcohol, and cocaine, going cold turkey off phentermine can be hard on a person and their body. What do you think? Please share your response in the comments so others can benefit from your experience.
