Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, began a career as a strength and conditioning specialist and nutrition consultant. His clientele soon began to include top celebrities few years later. Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, continued to refine his training regimen with medical-based rehabilitation techniques that enhanced the healing process. His development has led him to share his expertise in championship bodybuilding.

Early life

In an interview, Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, said he began working for Joe Weider at his Los Angeles bodybuilding camp, Muscle and Fitness. Chris was pretty young when he spent the first summer at Joe Weider’s bodybuilding camp. He worked there from the summers of 1987 to 1989. Bodybuilding was thrilling back then, and Lee Haney and Rich Gaspari were at the top of the game. So, Chris got to interact with the best bodybuilders in the world. Those camp years made Chris feel he would somehow be involved in the industry. At the camps, Chris Aceto, the Nutrition Coach, also met Laura Creavalle.

Fight with Cancer

Chris started feeling unhealthy by 2000. But he went on tour with Jay to Europe. He remembered waking up drenched in sweat. Chris had a feeling something was not right. So he went to see his doctor.

After running a few tests, the doctor informed Chris he had melanoma, a form of cancer. The conversation with his doctor was life-changing. After many months difficult months, Chris was able to defeat cancer.

Nutrition Philosophy

Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, said the key to nutritional goals is keeping good records. Many bodybuilders don’t reach their fitness goals because they are making decisions with the wrong information. They end up guessing because they don’t track calories correctly. Successful bodybuilders keep accurate records. Ronnie Coleman, 8 times Mr. Olympia said he tracked his diet religiously. Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, recommends using a scale to weigh your food and a calorie counter to count your calories. Chris believes no one has an excuse because the internet has a lot of tools and information.

Another thing that Chris said is important to achieving nutrition goals is consistency. There are two types of inconsistencies that sabotage a diet, frequency and magnitude. Frequency is when a person messes up all the time, while magnitude is when a person messes up one big time. Both can blow up a diet. Whether you’re attempting to shed fat or gain lean muscle mass, irregular eating and binge eating will crush your fitness goals.

Jay Cutler

Chris Aceto trained 4 times Mr. Olympia and Jay Cutler. According to Chris Aceto, Nutrition Coach, Jay was in a different league than most bodybuilders. His nutritional needs were enormous since he workout harder than most. Jay ate every two hours. Most people don’t know that Jay looked at eating as a job. However, his favorite food was cheeseburgers. According to Jay Cutler, he was mentored by Chris Aceto and Laura Creavalle, who taught him a lot about diet and exercise.

Shawn Rhoden

For over 20 years, bodybuilder Shawn Rhoden participated in many contests, taking home titles, including Mr. Olympia and Arnold Classic. Even though Shawn was one of the most successful bodybuilders, it doesn’t imply he had it easy. Shawn didn’t win the Mr. Olympia title until he was 43-year-old which, which set a record.

  • Chris believes in giving his clients the tools they need to succeed. So he will provide them with a customized plan based on their goals, athletic level, and current lifestyle. If that means cutting back on sugar or adding in some extra protein, Chris tells them exactly how much each!
  • Chris believes in being honest with his clients about what works for them and what doesn’t. So if something doesn’t work for them, he tells them not to do it! But, when something doesn’t work, he does his best to help the client find out why.

5 Simple Can Add to Your Health Goals!

  1. Drink more water. Drink water when you wake up, before every meal, before and after work, and when you feel hungry, thirsty, tired, hot, or dehydrated.
  2. Measure and weigh your food. If you don’t have time, use plates and cups where you know the portion sizes.
  3. Eat at scheduled meal times. Train your body to expect food at a particular time and not beyond that.
  4. Stop or limit processed foods. Try to eat food in its natural state. Eat brown rice instead of white rice. Eat whole-grain bread instead of white bread.
  5. Know what you are eating. Not the name of the food but the nutrients in the food and how they help you meet your goals. Can you name five foods you eat that help you meet your recommended daily intake of fiber?
